Tired of battling your garden weeds? Why not try eating them! Join us for part 2 of the Eat Your Weeds series with Wild Foods Educator Carolyn Dugas. She will teach us how to identify and prepare some tasty new garden weeds.
By the end of this class, you will know the best techniques and recipes for turning those pesky weeds into delightful culinary creations. If the weather permits, we will spend half of the class outside getting hands-on experience in the library garden.
Please note, this class will cover different plants than the previous class. All levels of experience are welcome and encouraged to join! Please email librarian@windsorlibrary.org or call the library at 802-674-2556 to let us know you're coming!
Carolyn has been joyfully eating weeds since 2017 when she spent a year apprenticing with botanist and forager Abby Artemisia. She is working to cultivate a world where we embrace the abundant and invasive superfoods growing in our lawns and gardens.
