Past event
Jul 27, 2022, 5:30 to 7 PM

Hello Everyone, We're excited to offer this by-donation event next Wednesday evening at Hawthorn Meadow Farmstead!

Homestead Connections: Growing on the Edge

Learn how to grow food efficiently and abundantly when faced with rocky, hilly, stumpy, or otherwise challenging land. See how human-scale tools can transform a hard hillside soil into lush, fertile, organic earth. A guided tour and demonstrations teach participants how to avoid erosion, maximize space, and improve efficiency—as well as how to integrate veggies, perennials, ducks, insects, and cover crops into a bountiful ecosystem. Tour includes iced tea and seasonal nibbles from the garden.

Wed, July 27th, 5:30-7pm

By Donation. Pre-registration is not required, but it's really appreciated!
