Richmond-Born Musicians Take to the Stage at RFM

Past event
Jul 22, 2022, 3 to 6:30 PM

Dear Devoted Farmers Market Shoppers,

Buy local, eat local, support your farmers! There's no better place to invest in your local economy and participate in pivoting our food system to locally sourced and sustainable production than at the Farmers Market. We are proud to provide this platform for you to vote with your dollar. Our farmers have loads of produce right now! Come check out all the juicy and scrumptious seasonal beauties.

Music this week is Richmond-born Adam Morin (keys) and Avery Cooper (saxophone, flute). Together they create rich textures and powerful melodies from swing, bossa, bebop, gospel, and more. Let the sweet sounds of this jazz duo serenade you though the Farmers Market!

The market facilitates reciprocity. The market provides for the community and the community gives back to the market - this happens over generations. I grew up eating carrots off the stem and noshing on maple candies most Fridays of every summer… and now I have returned as a manager. Adam and Avery (our musicians this week) were once amongst the crews of after-schoolers trekking down to the green each Friday after a long week cooped up in school (a tradition I see happening to this day with each new generation), and now they are back to serenade us all. Reciprocity!

Below is a list of the July 22 vendors.

Sunny-warm wishes,
~The RFM Team
