This is to let you know that the MAUSD School Board will be holding a special meeting on Wednesday, July 20 from 5-7 pm. The board will discuss at this meeting the content and details for the community forums to be held on August 4 in Monkton, New Haven and Bristol regarding the impact of the Starksboro withdrawal on our towns.

PLEASE put August 4 on your calendars and plan to attend the special community forum either in person in New Haven or online. Times and location of the meeting will be announced soon.

It's important to fully understand (before you vote) what the impact will be of a Starksboro withdrawal on our town school tax rate and influence on educational opportunities for our New Haven students.
