ICYMI, energy and climate have been hot topics lately, in more ways than one!
Beyond legislative heat standards and transportation initiatives, heat pumps, weatherization, electric vehicles (evs), solar and wind are on everyone's mind, in more conversations and household plans.
Both Underhill and Jericho have groups working to address these issues in our communities. Underhill Energy Committee (UEC) and Jericho Energy Task Force (JETF) will be setting up shop with information and good cheer, and hopefully some nifty electric toys to check out at the Jericho Farmers Market, this Thursday, 3:00 to 6:30 pm.
We hope you will come meet some of the folks working on these things in our communities, and maybe sign up for more/ongoing information and the soon to be launched Underhill "pre-audit" home weatherization program! Or just say hi!
