What IS a Gran Fondo? A Gran Fondo is a European style cycling event that is this Saturday, June 14th. It starts and finishes from the Middlebury Snow Bowl. We expect 150+ riders--the majority of whom will be riding the App, Lincoln, Brandon and Middlebury Gaps (in that order). Motorists should be aware that there are extra cyclists on the road Saturday.

The Chamber of Commerce has worked closely with the 14 towns the event travels through, as well as VTrans and the Department of Public Safety to produce a safe event for everyone. More than half of the riders are coming from out of state--plus several from Canada and the UK. Please show them our great Vermont hospitality!
