The second concert of the Craftsbury Chamber Players 2022 season will be held on Wednesday, July 20 at 7:30 at the Elley-Long Music Center in Colchester. Featured works are Ludwig van Beethoven, Duett mit zwei obligaten Augengläsern for viola and cello in E-flat major, WoO32 (1796), Franz Schubert, Fantasia in C major D. 934 for violin & piano (1827) and Edvard Grieg, String Quartet No. 1 in g minor, opus 27 (1877-78). The performers are Zenas Hsu, Mary Rowell, and Katherine Winterstein, violins; Kenji Bunch, viola; Frances Rowell, cello; and Jennifer Undercofler, piano. There is a pre-concert chat featuring one of the artists at 6:45.

There is a FREE mini-concert for our youngest chamber music lovers, also at Elley-Long, offered at 4 pm. The program features excerpts from the evening concert.
Please note – While COVID-19 infection rates in northern Vermont are down considerably, we nevertheless recommend that face masks be worn inside performance venues; we are not requiring masks, however. Should national and local guidelines change in the course of the concert season, we will of course provide updated guidance.
