On Tuesday, July 5th, Friends of the Mad River joined up with the Mad River Valley Planning District to host more than 100 community members at the Lareau Farm in Waitsfield for an exploration of the current and future climate change impacts in the Mad River Valley. It is inspiring to see the leadership and gumption this community brings to tackle these big issues - thanks for turning out!

Join us August 9th for the next Community Climate Chat!

The next Community Climate Chat will feature Jane Lazorchak, Director of the Global Warming Solutions Act, and will focus on the State of Vermont's Climate Action Plan. The event will be held at the Pavilion at Lareau Farm and will run from 5:30 to 7:30pm on Tuesday, August 9.
