Art Talk at The Current in Stowe Tuesday July 19th!

The Current (formerly Helen Day Art Center) in Stowe is launching CURRENTLY SPEAKING, a new series of talks exploring contemporary art topics! The first event, on Tuesday July 19th, will examine late photographer Harold Feinstein, hailed by The New York Times as 'one of the most accomplished recorders of the American experience.' London-based contemporary photography curator Carrie Scott will discuss Feinstein and his iconic images of mid-century New York. Scott previously curated a 2020 exhibition of Feinstein's work.

Free to the public with a suggested donation of $10. No reservation is required.
Refreshments will be served.

Currently Speaking is The Current's new series of talks exploring contemporary art topics. The series will host experts in a range of contemporary art genres and media. The Current looks forward to welcoming community members in casual discourse with the speakers and meaningful interactions with the art they showcase.
