Due to an uptick in local COVID-19 cases, the Select Board is holding its meetings via Zoom, per. 1 V.S.A. § 312 (a)(2)(D). North Bear Swamp Road Field Trip
5:00 PM Inspecting the Class IV section of North Bear Swamp Road – The Board will meet at Rumney School and carpool to the section of North Bear Swamp the Trails Committee has suggested downgrading to a Legal Trail. This is an informational field trip and not part of the statutory process for downgrading a road. Meeting will be adjourned until 6:30 pm or immediately following the BCA meeting at 6:00 PM. Action unlikely

Select Board Meeting Resumes via Zoom and in Town Hall

6:30 PM Select Board meeting resumes. Call to order, amendments.

6:35 Discussion of North Bear Swamp visit. Action unlikely.

6:45 Monthly joint meeting with the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department. Action possible

7:00 Treasurer Report. Discussion of locking in diesel-fuel rates. Action possible

7:15 Highway Updates. Action possible.

OTHER BUSINESS
- Approving the minutes of the July 12, 2022 Select Board Meeting. Action likely.
- Correspondence
- Discussing painting the rear of the old fire station behind Town Hall. Action possible.
- Approving a CV Fiber easement to install a power box near the Town Highway Department. Action possible.
