UnRaveling, the second film of the 2022 Stowe Jewish Film Festival (SJFF), will be shown at The Big Picture in Waitsfield, Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 7:00 pm. This year's film festival theme is The Jewish Experience: a multiplicity of cultures, languages, countries, traditions, and colors.
UnRaveling addresses the question, "Did Pancho Villa really try to kill my grandfather?" While attempting to unravel a family mystery, the filmmaker reveals a dynamic story of borderland relations between a Texas Jewish merchant family and their Mexican neighbors at the beginning of the 20th century.
Note: The film begins at 7 pm. Dinner can be eaten in the restaurant at the Big Picture starting at 5 pm. Dinner can also be ordered and delivered to your seat. If you want to have dinner with the movie, please come at least half an hour earlier to place your order.
