JACOB RICE PERFORMS IN RIPTON. Friday, July 22, 7:30 p.m. Ripton Community Church on Rt. 125 in the village center. Rising star singer-songwriter Jacob Rice will perform a free concert featuring his highly regarded tune "Leave Me Home," inspired by Robert Frost and his Ripton Cabin. Born and raised in Wallingford, his song "Home in the Cold Green Mountain Air" is a tribute to his beloved state. In February he was a winning finalist in the annual Tennessee Songwriters Week competition that included a performance at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. Donations are welcome.
