Transportation is responsible for about 40% of Carbon emissions – Here's a way to make a substantial impact: travel by electric-assist (or conventional) bicycle. Their energy usage is a small fraction of that of cars – even electric cars*.

This Friday (15th July) the Farmers' Market will host an electric bike event by Local Motion and Richmond Climate Action Committee (RCAC). E-bikes are a viable, climate-friendly option for getting to and from the Village, and for commuter travel. Local Motion will provide an opportunity to test ride an e-bike. Richmond owners will bring their E-bikes and will share their purchasing and riding experiences. Come and find out about the Climate Action Committee too!
