The reception will also feature Vermont's former Poet Laureate Chard deNiord who will read to us from his recent works.

Liz Hawkes deNiord's second show at Crowell Gallery showcases new work as well as recent paintings connected thematically. Hawkes deNiord shows regionally and after 38 years teaching art and ceramics, she enjoys the daily challenge of engaging visually with ideas and the discipline of pushing each new work through transformative stages.
