The historic Village is heart of Williston. The purpose of this zoning bylaw revision is to promote historic preservation, adaptive reuse of historic buildings, and clarity for new project design. The proposed zoning is written to encourage a vibrant village center with a variety of home types, businesses, and amenities while ensuring change is incremental and aligned with the historic village character.
