Join the Mad River Libraries and author Angela Burke Kunkel for a special storytime featuring her acclaimed picture book "Penguin Journey." Angela will share her lyrical picture book exploration of emperor penguins' incredible journey to parenthood, with stunning watercolor art. We'll also read other penguin-themed books and enjoy songs and activities. This storytime is ideal for children ages 0-6 with their caregivers and other family members.

We'll meet on the lawn above the Bridge Street swimming hole in Waitsfield (near The Sweet Spot) this Saturday, 7/16, at 10:30 am. Rain location will be the Joslin Memorial Library.

This storytime is part of the Mad River Libraries' "Oceans of Possibilities" summer learning program and is supported by funds from the VT Department of Libraries and our Friends organizations.
