Are you renting for the first time? Are you having trouble maintaining long term housing? Do you know your rights as a renter?

Attend Know Your Rights: Fair Housing 101, an educational workshop providing vital, helpful information and resources for future and current renters to attain lifelong housing success.

Happening on August 3 at the Morristown Centennial Library, this FREE educational workshop covers the history of the Fair Housing Act and the resulting protections under Federal and Vermont law, what to do if you experience discrimination, and access requirements for people with disabilities, including reasonable accommodations and reasonable modifications. The interactive session includes a discussion of Vermont's housing landscape and plenty of time for questions. Presented by the Fair Housing Project of the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO.)

Free to attend. Open to the public. For more information, please visit www.cvoeo.org/fhp or www.lamoillehousing.org/lhp-events; registration is also on Lamoille Housing Partnership's website.
