The Craftsbury Chamber Players begin their 2022 season on Thursday, July 14 at 7:30 at the Hardwick Town House in Hardwick. The program ranges from Renaissance England to contemporary American and celebrates the richness and range of chamber music traditions. Featured works are John Dowland, Lachrimæ or seaven teares (1604), Kenji Bunch, Apocryphal Dances (2017), Robert Beaser, Mountain Songs (1985), and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Piano Quartet no. 1 in g minor K. 478 (1785). The performers are Darryl Kubian, Mary Rowell, and Katherine Winterstein, violins; Kenji Bunch, viola; Frances Rowell, cello; James Kerr, guitar; and Monica Ohuchi, piano. There is a pre-concert chat featuring one of the artists at 6:45.

There is a FREE mini concert for our youngest chamber music lovers, also at the Hardwick Town House, offered at 2 pm. The program features excerpts from the evening concert.
