On Thursday, Local Motion is bringing Elly Blue, a Portland-based bike blogger and author of "Bikeonomics: How Bicycling Can Save the Economy" to town for an event called "Dinner and Bikes." She will be joined by Joe Biel, a bike-lovin' documentary filmmaker; and Joshua Ploeg, an amazing vegan chef. It'll be an eclectic evening of movies and stories about bike culture and a wide-ranging discussion on linking bike culture and local economic vitality in Burlington -- with a delicious vegan and gluten-free dinner to top it off.
