A presentation of the First Images from the James Webb Space Telescope
will be held in the second floor at the Morrisville Centennial Library, on Wednesday July 13th from 7 - 8:30 PM. Doors open at 6:45.
Please join Elaine Fortin, a NASA Solar System Ambassador, to hear the science and stories behind this amazing frontier-breaking telescope, the science learned from these first images
and what more to expect as JWST travels with us in the next decades. There will be some fun NASA hand-outs too! Everyone welcome!
Elaine was one of 600 people chosen by NASA in America and one of only seven people in Vermont to host this 'First Light' presentation.
Elaine is a former employee of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for
Astrophysics and a founding member of the Lamoille County Star Gazers
astronomy club.
