Children ages 7-10 are invited to a Ukulele and Music Appreciation Camp on Monday, August 1-Friday, August 5 from 10-2 at Morristown Centennial Library. We will learn the basics of ukulele in the morning including notes, chords, and how to play simple songs; in the afternoon we will learn about different genres of music and the musicians that shaped them, focusing on children's books that incorporate these musical themes. Students will play the songs they've learned at Oxbow Park as part of MACC's Celebrate the Arts Festival on Wednesday, August 10. The camp is free; students will need to bring their own lunches.
