Join local authors Rage Hezekiah and Anna Hogeland in conversation at the Bennington Bookshop on Sunday, July 10 at 2:00! The event will be outside, in the courtyard behind the bookshop.
*Rage Hezekiah* is a New England-based poet and educator, who earned her MFA from Emerson College. She has received fellowships from Cave Canem, MacDowell, and The Ragdale Foundation, and is the recipient of the Saint Botolph Foundation's Emerging Artists Award. Her poems have been anthologized, co-translated, and published internationally. Her most recent collection, Yearn, is out now. Nate Marshall says, "this is a book that sings a necessary song."
*Anna Hogeland's* debut novel, The Long Answer, has received starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews and Booklist, and was called "breathtaking" by The New York Times Book Review. It will be published in 8 countries to date. She is a psychotherapist with an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work, and an MFA from University of California, Irvine. She lives in Bennington.
