It's summer in Poultney, and that means every Sunday night at 6:30 PM you can enjoy the sound of Poultney's own concert band on the historic East Poultney Green. The band has been around for almost 100 years, and is made up of musicians from all over Rutland County, Vermont and Washington County, New York. A wide variety of music is usually performed, with show tunes, marches, polkas, waltzes, and other contemporary concert band selections that are certain to have your toes tapping. The band plays every Sunday in July, which gives you 5 opportunities to catch a concert this year.
