Chester Summer Music presents The Bluegrass Pioneers. Rooted in the hard-driving tradition of first-generation bluegrass, the Pioneers features the extraordinary talents of some of Vermont's veteran and best-known bluegrass musicians: "Banjo" Dan and Willie Linder, Danny Coane and Sam Blagden. Their goal is to find the heart and soul of every song they perform and deliver it with passion to their listeners. Bring a picnic, lawn chair, blanket to the Academy Lawn across from the Chester Common. The American Legion Post # 67 is our rain venue again this summer. Chester Summer Music Series is 100% Community and sponsored by the Chester Rotary. The final for the summer of 2022 is on August 11 -The Better Days Band – Classic rock, R & B, blues and funky stuff.
