Calling all music makers and fans in the Middlebury area - this Friday [July 8] Golden Rule Mead welcomes you to our first official Open Mic ! The rules are simple: We have a cute and funky little space and a small electric keyboard (and an even smaller xylophone) so you'll need to bring whatever gear you require. It's a small space, so you won't need to project much.

The Mic is Open from 5-7 PM, at which point special guest Aida O'Brien will perform an hour of her own material. We'll feel out how much material each participant can present based on attendance. Musicians, poets, and fans of all ages are welcome - we'll have non-alcoholic beverages in addition to our mead - and there's no cover.
