Laura Smith's "Anti-Racist Storytime" is happening again this Saturday, 7/9 at the gazebo in front of the Stowe Free Library from 9:30-10:30am.

Please help spread the word and join us for books and activities! All ages are welcome, although it is most appropriate for ages 4-12, with the aim of helping kids develop a strong sense of racial identity, an understanding of inclusion and bias (in kid-friendly language!) and tools for parents along this journey of raising anti-racist kids.

Laura Smith is a racial literacy consultant who works with Building Fearless Futures and consults with school districts across the Northeast Kingdom. During the school year, Laura leads Anti-Racist Storytime in K-2 classrooms and assists teachers in bringing a more liberators pedagogy into their classrooms.
