Newport Parks & Recreation Presents.... Dive-in Movies under the stars!

THIS FRIDAY 6/13: Charlotte's Web (G)
8:00PM: Open swim at Prouty Beach with lifeguards on duty
8:45PM: Concession stand opens
9:00/dusk: Movie begins
10:15PM: Movie ends

Admission: $5 per person, 3 & under free. No pets

Grab your lawn chairs, swimsuit, blankets and towels for open swim and movie under the stars at Prouty Beach! Lifeguards are on duty from 8-8:45PM. At dark, we'll settle on the beach for a PG movie on our 16ft outdoor cinema! Popcorn and movie concessions will be available for purchase to benefit Newport Parks & Rec. Feel free to pack a cooler and snacks, but please NO GLASS. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, children 3 and under are free.

THIS IS A SMOKE FREE EVENT.

Dive-in Movie Schedule 2014
June 13 - Charlotte's Web, 8PM
July 18 - The Lego Movie, 8PM
August 22 - Grease, 7:30PM

Keep fingers crossed for good weather! Ocassionally Dive-in Movies are cancelled if it rains to heavily or is too windy for the equipment. In the event of an inclement weather forecast, watch our Facebook page for updates or call (802)334-6345. Cancellations will be announced by noon in most cases.
