The Springfield Community Band regrets to announce that the July 5 Children's Concert has been postponed due to rain.
This fun event will now take place next Tuesday, July 12, at 7:00 PM at the same venue - The Common, a park on Summer Hill St, Springfield.
Children will recognize much of the music, and they will have the chance to lead the band!
Two highlights of the evening:
***Talented vocalist Grace Thompson will sing selections from "The Sound of Music," accompanied by the band.
***Flutist Danielle St. Amand will show off her virtuosity in the lively "Carnival of Venice."
There will be free ice cream for all.
