It's the beginning of summer and I have already had bug bites, poison ivy, sunburn, and an absolute plethora of random cuts that I have no clue how they got there. From easing itchiness to preventing infection, herbs have been with me throughout the growing season to soothe, protect, and heal my body in more ways than I can count.

Join us for an exploration of how we can enhance our first aid kits with herbal preparations that will help stop bleeding, disinfect wounds, soothe inflamed tissues, speed wound healing, and tend our hearts throughout the healing process.

We will dive into the use of honey, wound washes, herbal poultices, salves, and tinctures to support us in a plethora of different situations when we are in need of wound care. You will return home with recipes to play with and excitement to harvest weeds from your backyard.

All ages are welcome to join this workshop. Please be mindful of the needs of your child in relation to sitting in a circle with lots of listening when signing up!
