JULY Happenings at Tenney memorial Library, Newbury, Vermont

Sunday, July 17th at 2:00pm- at the Tenney Library- Michael Caduto, noted expert on Native American tales and cultural contributions to our American culture, will present his program"Tales From the Deep:Native Legends of the Living Waters".
All ages welcome. The library is accessible for all.

There will be drumming and a circle dance to close the program.

Tuesday, July19th- from 1-3:00pm. "Create Your Own Graphic Book" Workshop for those in 3rd through 6th Grade. The workshop will be given by a recent graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction. There will be a snack break. There are a few places still open for this workshop.Call or email Tenney Library to register. Materials will be provided and the workshop is free-brought to students through a grant from the Vermont Department of Libraries.

Tenney Memorial Library is still happy to receive your donations of clean and non/smelly books for our annual Book Sale. We cannot accept Readers' Digest Condensed Books, text books or books not in good shape.

First Thursday of each month - Book Discussion from 7-8:00pm.
