The Richmond Climate Action Committee (RCAC) will be holding it’s monthly meeting at the Richmond Solar Farm on the Richmond-HInesburg Rd. this Wednesday night from 7:00- 9:00. The Richmond Climate Action Committee is a citizen committee dedicated to reducing the Town’s (Richmond, Vermont) contribution to global warming and climate change through local action. We do this by: Informing and educating Richmond’s residents, schools, businesses and town government on global warming and climate change; Working with Richmond’s residents, schools, businesses and town government to identify and implement the most effective and pragmatic measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and climate change; and Promoting public policy in Richmond and through our state representative and senators to take action to reduce climate change All are welcome to come to our meetings.
