Read a good book lately? Consider donating it to the book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Bixby. Donations will be received from 3:00 to 6:00 on Thursday, July 9 in the back parking lot. Please make sure your donations are published after 2010 and are in good condition. Especially needed right now are children's books which do not have a publishing date limitation. If you are in doubt, just bring it in and we will tell you if it is a good candidate for the sale. In order for the sale to succeed, we need to have good books to sell. Proceeds from the sale (which takes place on Saturday, July 9) go to library projects such as the recently purchased fireplace heaters, electronic resources (Hoopla), and the air filter units in every room.
