I'm delighted to be able to welcome Reed Albergotti to Addison County. He's a Wall Street Journal reporter and co-author of Wheelmen: Lance Armstrong, the Tour de France and the Greatest Sports Conspiracy Ever, and I'll be in conversation with him this Thursday, June 12, at 7 p.m. at the Champlain Valley Unitarian Universalist Society at 2 Duane Court in Middlebury. The Armstrong saga is one of the most dramatic of our time--a tale that tested athletes, fans and journalists alike, and one that continues to raise hard questions. Reed's appearance is presented by The Vermont Book Shop as part of Middlebury Cyclefest 2014 in celebration of Saturday's inaugural Vermont Gran Fondo (an event that Reed himself, a former Category Two competitor, will ride).
