Boy, this is shaping up to be an outdoor musical week.
First up is the monthly coffeehouse, which due to warm and inviting weather will be on the Commons at the gazebo again this month. Come on down for some pre-holiday, end-of-week relaxation with the forever changing coffee house musician menagerie. BYO chairs, snacks, blankets, beverages, family and friends.
Starting at 7pm and running til dusk (or later).
Then on Sunday, it's our very own Weststock day, celebrating the 200th birthday opening of the Red Brick Meeting House. Starting at 4pm we will have classical guitar stylings courtesy of Charlie Cavanaugh, then at 4:20 will be the delightful harmonies of Aaron and Aleria, local singer song-writers. At 5pm we present a classic country and rock set with Stony Ridge Duo, followed at 5:30 by blues and classic americana Howling Waters.
Then at 6pm we break for the presentation and cutting of the 200th birthday cake for all to share.
Following that, we move into higher gear with the Weststock House Band and special guests, which will rock the common til dusk.
Come on out and support this fundraising event for the Meeting House with your generous donations taken throughout the evening. There will be time during the event for any and everyone to visit the new Westford Historical Society building next to the Common, and check out the special historical timeline banner installed at the Red Brick Meeting House especially installed just for this event.
Our own Kickback Brewery will also be offering their own brand of tasty libations and it is rumored that Trent's Bread will be baking up some pizza to go along with the brew. A perfect pairing.
Gracies Popcorn will also be offering various snacks for the evening, and be sure to check out the specials at the Westford Country Store and Deli. Order up your sandwiches and poutine ahead of time for timely pickup at the show.
