Hi Neighbors,
Want to learn more about the fascinating world of fungi and the important roles they play in our forest ecosystems? Ever wondered what delicious food and powerful medicine could be growing in the forests around you?
It's time for another wild mushroom foray! Join me for an educational walk through the woods as we ID common species of mushrooms and learn how to utilize our fungal findings for food and medicine. Forays are a great activity for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and abilities who want to deepen their understanding and connection with the natural world.
We will gather at the Uplands trails parking lot off West Farm Rd at 9am rain or shine and aim to start walking by 9:15 after a safety and sustainability discussion. Please where hiking shoes, long socks, and pants as we will be rocking the Tick-Tuck to keep those pesky blood suckers at bay. Be prepared for other insects with bug spray/hats/long sleeves.
Please RSVP, I would like to keep our group size under 10 people.
$40/adults
$10/teens
kids with supervision are free.
Mush Love!
