It's audition time for The Shelburne Players' fall production! We will be presenting "Almost, Maine" in October at the Shelburne Town Hall. This is a charming script with a lot of parts—we are looking for between 4 and 19 character actors (stage age: 20-55) to play a total of 19 roles.
Auditions will be this Wednesday and Thursday (June 22 & 23), from 6:30-8:30 PM, at the Pierson Library Community Room, 5376 Shelburne Road in Shelburne. Please pick just one night to attend. All audition attendees must show proof of Covid vaccination.
Rehearsals begin: August 15, 2022
Production dates: October 7-15, 2022
About the show: "Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that's so far north, it's almost not in the United States. It's almost in Canada. And it's not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn't exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the Northern Lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream."
