Thank you everyone who responded to the posts about organizing a Swing Dance Community here in the Valley. The response was very enthusiastic. We are moving forward and will host a non-dance meet up just to say hello and hear from people more on what they would like to see as the group gets organized (how often to meet, lessons opportunities, etc). This has a great potential to be a popular and vibrant group!

The gathering will be held next month on Tuesday, July 19 at 6pm at the Waitsfield Joslin Memorial Library. Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. Dancers do not need to have a partner or previous experience; I personally am a novice sort of learning some basics online. A few easy steps and you are on your way across the dance floor. Please feel welcome to reach out with questions, feedback, ideas, interest in joining us. Word of mouth is valuable; tell your friends and colleagues!!!
