Caribou Across the Arctic
Stories from the Land

Tuesday, June 21, 5:30-7 pm
From the Atlantic Ocean to Alaska's coastal plain–including Arctic islands, mountains, boreal forests, and open tundra–Sue has tracked, studied, and photographed caribou and their remarkable diversity of habitats for 15 years.

On June 21 she'll share her stories in a new, free and very special Zoom presentation illustrated with her own stunning photos she has taken throughout some of North America's most remote habitats. You'll see the results of her skills and patience at getting up close and personal with caribou and their wild neighbors, including polar bears, musk oxen, Arctic foxes, ptarmigan, and wolves.

Sue's stories share a mix of humor, adventure, and personal reflections, engaging us all to contemplate the full significance of caribou and the vast wilderness landscapes these animals embody. Sue's work can speak for itself, but in this program, you'll have the opportunity to hear first-hand the intimate knowledge and wisdom that only comes from decades of field research.

This free fundraiser to benefit the Jericho (VT.) Town Library is co-sponsored by the Jericho-Underhill Land Trust, Jericho Conservation Commission, Richmond Land Trust, Richmond Free Library, and Huntington Public Library. It'll be hosted by the Northeast Wilderness Trust and supported by grant funding awarded to Keeping Track.

See you online on Tuesday at 5:30 sharp! See the link to watch here; https://keepingtrack.org/events/caribou-across-arctic-stories-land
