Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:30 p.m. Southern Vermont Natural History Museum - Who's Living in Your Watershed? This live animal program will introduce audiences of all ages to the live animals found in and around our own backyards. For example- we might start with the snapping turtle as a very aquatic animal and then meet a frog who lives part of his life away from water. Different animals will lead us to the ridgeline where the broad-winged hawk might live before it flies to South America, bringing our watershed thousands of miles away. The theme of water's importance and what a watershed is will be the thread that weaves through the close-up looks and information about the animals. Meet at the Cabot Rec Field Pavilion.
