Mario Loiselle began his exploration of the music of Quebec some forty years ago as a self-taught fiddler. Over the years, his distinctive Quebecois style of piano playing, however, has enabled him to work with many of the giants in Quebecois music, including: Phillipe Bruneau, Jean-Marie Verret, Michel Faubert, Sabin Jacques and Richard forest.

Pascal Gemme is acknowledged as one of the best traditional Quebecois fiddlers of his generation. He has learned much of the repertoire, technique and distinctive sound of his elders, and is a force in keeping the tradition alive, concertizing with the band Genticorum, playing for dances, and teaching and nurturing jam sessions to pass on the tradition.
