A Food drive to help fill the shelves of the Vergennes Community Food Shelf is set for the week of June 20 through June 24. Shaw's supermarket in Ferrisburgh/Vergennes Vermont has generously agreed to collect foods for five consecutive days that will be available at the check out counters for donation to the shelves of our local food shelf. Please plan to donate a few popular items from the list below: jam or jelly (grape, strawberry, raspberry); boxed cereals like cheerios, rice or wheat chex; boxed mac n' cheese; tuna fish in can; chicken noodle soup, boxed spaghetti, canned beef stew; canned baked beans, dried pinto beans.
