Pop-Up Story Time at the Morrisville Farmers Market

Past event
Jun 18, 2022, 10 to 10:30 AM

Join Maggie from the Morristown Centennial Library for a pop-up story time at the Morrisville Farmers Market this Saturday, June 18 at 10:00am. In celebration of Vermont Pollinator Week, we will be reading stories and singing rhymes about our pollinator helpers, the flowers they visit, and the fruits and vegetables they make possible. All ages welcome.

The library tent will be set up from 9:00-10:30ish, so come early to sign up for summer reading program (kids AND adults), get a library card, and find out what's happening at the library this summer.

After story time, Maggie will be running back to the library to introduce Bill Mares, a writer and beekeeper for 45 years, who will be presenting his talk, "Bees Besieged: A History of Beekeeping" in the upstairs community room at 11:00. So in one Saturday morning you could support your local farmers market, connect with your local library, AND learn something about the pollinators who make it all happen. Hope to see you at any or all of these community events!
