The Middlebury Community Players is presenting "Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" this Thursday through Sunday at the ART Theater in the Hannaford Center, 51 Charles Street, in Middlebury, next to the high school. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 pm. Sunday is a 2:00 matinee. The show runs approximately two-and-a-half hours. Go in the front door and down the corridor and you'll see signs directing you to the theater.

Seating is unassigned but you can make a reservation at (802) 377-3540 by leaving your name, phone number, show date, and number of tickets you'd like after the tone. We will reserve you a place in the theater until five minutes before curtain. Tickets are $10. Please bring cash or check to the theater; we can't process credit or debit cards.

Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? dazzled audiences when it opened in 1962 and revolutionized American theater. When a young professor and his wife arrive for a nightcap at the home of an older professor and his wife, long buried secrets and fantasies emerge as the four play psychological games and power plays. Sometimes hilarious, sometimes harrowing, Woolf has lost none of its power in sixty years.
