The Lamoille County Players (LCP) invites you to audition for our foliage comedic drama, "Blue Window". The show's overlapping dialogue and introspective characters are a goldmine for actors looking to expand their craft. Actors and musicians alike are encouraged to audition for this show. We will incorporate live music as much as possible.

Please bring a verse and/or chorus of a song to sing at auditions acapella for a fun improv exercise about rhythm. A jazz standard is preferred but not required. If auditioning for the role of Emily, this song will be used as a vocal audition. If auditioning for the role of Tom, please bring your own instrument and be prepared for an instrumental audition (guitar is listed, but other instruments will be considered, except for piano).

The Show:
Coming together for a dinner party are the nervous hostess Libby, her best friend Griever, the fiction writer Alice, her lover Boo, who is learning Italian; Norbert, the quiet parachute instructor, Tom, the aspiring composer struggling to write a song, and Emily, a lost secretary in search of her own story. Past fears, pain, doubt, and faith are all interwoven to create a quick-moving performance that explores how we connect to or disconnect from others throughout our lives.
