Rising Action Mustang Society, a non-profit organization in New Haven, VT, will be hosting the Vermont Horse Council this Saturday, June 18th! Join us from 9 AM to 12 PM to meet our mustangs, view training demos, and learn about what we hope to do here at RAMS. If you've ever wondered about the wild horses of the American west, this is your chance to see them in action. You can learn more about RAMS at www.risingactionmustangs.com.
You'll also have the chance to meet and greet with the Vermont Horse Council, who work as a voice of equestrians throughout the state.
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public! We are located at 630 East Street, New Haven. Please bring sunscreen, water, and any questions you have about these amazing horses. For the safety of all creatures, please no dogs.
Our mission at RAMS is to bring the legend of the mustang to New England through education, training, and resources. RAMS is home to a dozen mustangs from Oregon, California, and Nevada, gathered by the Bureau of Land Management and the United States Forestry Service. They range from fully wild to saddle started, and our horses are ready to show off the intelligence, variety, and majesty of the US feral horse population. Mustangs make incredible partners for riders of all disciplines, so we invite any and all horse people to come see them for yourself!
