Bloomsday Celebration!

Past event
Jun 16, 2022, 7 to 8:30 PM

As a lifetime reader of James Joyce's Ulysses, I've long recognized how daunting this amazing novel can be. Yet it holds an enduring fascination and remains on the top of many lists of the finest works in English in the 20th century. This presentation, at Brattleboro's Brooks Library and simultaneously online, consists primarily of carefully selected excerpts from the book, along with terrific artists' imaginings of episodes from Ulysses, and commentary designed to make the work approachable and enjoyable to all, regardless of previous experience.

If you're interested but want to participate online, here's the Zoom link to the presentation:

Hope to see you there or on Zoom! -- Jon Mack
