Your time and your plants, if you have some to share, are requested at Chandler this Saturday June 11th, from 1 PM to 4 PM, to rejuvenate the tired flower beds.
Please join with other community volunteers to subtract the weeds that snuck in since last spring. And then to add color, for all summer and fall, with plants that you and others bring along.
Here are the perennials we're looking for: Sweet William, Brunnera, Coronation Golden Yarrow, Cardinal Flower (red or blue), Blue-star Amsonia, Bee Balm, Cambridge or Cranesbill (Hardy) Geraniums, Blazing Star, Moss Phlox, Ajuga, or reblooming Daylilies. Also, medium-sized shrubs such as Weigela or Red-twigged dogwood.
Good cheer and cooling drinks provided. We're eager to see you, with or without plants, on the front stairs of Chandler at 1 PM Saturday.
