The Milton Artists' Guild is hosting a talk with artist Misoo Bang on Friday, June 10th from 6:30-8 p.m. (reception 6:30-7). Misoo will share her transformation from victim to a powerful creator of art. She will talk about racial injustice and domestic violence towards Asian women and the art she creates portraying these confident women through her Giant Asian Girls series of paintings. Two large portraits are on display at the Guild, as well as smaller prints of her work. This event is a Milton on the Move initiative and generously sponsored by the Vermont Federal Credit Union.
