Walk to Shop Trolleys are Back by Popular Demand, Burlington Farmers Market this Saturday!
With gas prices through the roof, why not avoid the pump and save by walking to the Farmers Market and grocery store instead of driving? Walk to Shop, a local non-profit, offers the perfect tool to carry more groceries home with just one hand! – easily and safely.
Our stylish green shopping trolleys carry a lot of groceries and are available in two sizes: medium and large—carry up to 40 or 50 pounds of groceries in just one trip.
Each trolley has a rear pouch, ideal for an umbrella, water bottle and reusable shopping bags, and an inside zippered pouch for coupons, keys, and phone. You'll love the ridiculously low prices which will encourage you to pick up a trolley and "walk to shop" more often.
Most people in Burlington live no more than 1,500 steps or a 15-minute walk from a grocery store. Walking is great exercise, is good for the environment, and saves you money too!
Did you know that 10 billion miles are driven each year in the U.S. for trips less than one mile? Make walking to the grocery store a pleasant part of your weekly routine. It's a great way to travel and see your neighbors, too.
To learn more about walktoshop.org., stop by the Burlington Farmers Market this Saturday, June 11, from 9 to 2PM. We'll have trolleys for sale and can answer any questions about Walk to Shop.
See you there!
