Volunteer Training for the Quarry Project

Past event
Jul 20 to 22, 2022

The Quarry Project is getting closer to showtime! This one-of-a-kind dance/theater performance is being held on the water in one of the oldest, deepest granite quarries in the world, located here in Websterville, VT. This is a truly unique event that's happening this summer only, outdoors, in the natural setting of the Wells Lamson Quarry. It's a very exciting time and we are hoping that you can be a part of making it happen.

We are looking for volunteers! The performances are August 5 - 21 (no Mondays or Thursdays). Shifts will last for 2 ½ - 3 hours. Volunteer duties will include parking attendants, ushering, processing tickets and backstage support. Volunteers should be comfortable working outdoors, on uneven ground, near water and 18 years old. The one time, 90 minute training sessions will take place July 18, 19 and 20 in the quarry.

We are also looking for a small crew of construction volunteers for weekends in June. If you know how to use a screw gun and cut dimensional lumber, this job is for you.

As a thank you for our volunteers you will get a free seat at one of the dress rehearsals on July 25, 26 or 27, and a copy of the Quarry Project book, a photographic keepsake from this extraordinary performance.
